Brainwashed

I recently watched a commentary on Burning Man festival which then led me to footage on the Aghori faith, based in Uttar Pradesh, India. This video is absolutely not intended to disrespect Hinduism and its various forms. I spent the last 3 days watching multiple documentaries on corrupt organizations, and various occult traditions, and naturally, it left me thinking. I named this video "Brainwashed" because I often witness Millennials and Zoomers completely disregard the Christian faith, yet fully embody non-western religions, while neglecting to realize that every form of ancient spirituality has its dark side. Despite having faith myself, I am skeptical by nature. I have always respected and was fascinated by Christianity, although I acknowledge that the Vatican has historically concealed their archives in order to protect their public image. Regarding our youth in present day society, I am noticing history repeating itself through the lens of social media. I believe that we are living through a second wave of a sexual revolution, and it appears that its manifesting itself through spiritual enlightenment. I am witnessing a parallel pattern amongst young people throughout the west. They're on a mission, in search of an Identity in God. I compiled footage to convey what mass psychosis means to me.
