20230918 This Year I Was Ready for My September Battle With Depression

September is when the boys go back to school, and I reflect upon the summer's successes and failures. Then I usually fall into a depressive spiral.

Having the foreknowledge of what was inevitably to come, I spent the year, starting in January, preparing a defense against depression.

Last year I ended up in one of the deepest spirals of my life. This year, not so much.
