Shavonne Thompson is a grateful alcoholic, 10 years sober and founder of Throttle & Thrive – a men’s only detox and substance issue treatment facility exclusively for first responders and veterans. She left her hard hat, safety vest and steel-toed boots behind when she left her 13-year career in the commercial construction industry as a Superintendent to jump into the treatment industry.
She is passionate about sobriety, recovery and mental health. And most of all, is passionate providing a place for first responders and veterans to receive care.
