Storm Shield Forecast morning update 08/16/17

Thankfully today will be about the same as yesterday in the wake of that weak front. Expect sunny skies with the 60s this morning turning a high of 91 in Bakersfield today, the perfect weather for the first day back to school! In the mountains it starts in the 60s for the Kern River Valley and climbs to a high of 88, with just the chilly 50s in the southern mountains turning to a high of 80 in Tehachapi and 76 in Frazier Park this afternoon.
