Summer's Last Grasp

On September 9th, I got word that B705 was finally on his way down the River Sub after parking in Solvay for a couple days, with a CN pair for power, including an ex-Citirail unit, so I spun to Newburgh to watch it pass. On the 15th, I finally got word that M403 had a PRLX waybill and I had to leapfrog it to CP 43. After a long lull, I got word that SU-99 had 3024 on it so I went to see it at MQ on the 22nd, and they put on a great show! And it just so happens the 22nd was the last day of summer, so that was a nice treat!
