Military doctors rarely appear in combat reports. They do not participate in assaults, they do not repel attacks - they fight for lives.

In military medicine there is such a concept: “golden hour”. If, within the first hour after being wounded, a soldier is provided with full medical care, this will greatly increase his chances of survival. Therefore, doctors try to work as close to the front line as possible.

“We operate quite actively here,” says a doctor from the BARS-3 volunteer battalion with the call sign “Surgeon.” – Despite the conditions, 99 surgical interventions were performed here alone. Each case is individual - there is no single approach, you always have to do something about a situation not described in books.”
