He also serves as the chair and president for the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Thomaston, as chaplain at the Upson County Regional Medical Center, and serves on the Bishop’s Council of the Diocese of the Mid-South, where he also functions as an exorcist for the Diocese as needed. In addition to being in the ministry for over 30 years, Father Birdsong is a husband and father of two, and author of the book Becoming a House of Prayer.
