Would You Go Barefoot If No One Yelled At You?

Everyone wears cheap flip flops when the weather is nice - because they hate wearing shoes.
So, why not just go barefoot?
It is common worldwide to go without shoes while running errands. However in America there are decades of social stigmas attached to it.
If everyone that hated shoes actually just went barefoot, then we could lose the negativity that surrounds this common practice.
