WISDOM BITS - invest energy in self or a sick society?

Honestly, investing own energy in self is investing in society as well. Because each and every being who lives in a society is part of that, be it that they want it or not. Each one of us is partly a product of society and its trends are just currents. After all it's us who bends to these currents or choose to remain stalwart. Just cause the masses go blindly to the slaughterhouse, one doesn't have to abide.
