With the current premiums for silver and gold in Shanghai skyrocketing in the last week or so I think it is important to touch upon what a Chinese analyst Bai Xiaojun calls "The Impending Eruption Crisis - Silver Extinction"

According to Tavi Costa of Crescat Capital Mexico just reported its steepest decline in annual production of silver in 4 years, which is notably worse than during the covid lockdowns.

To top it all off we are at a key medium-term technical juncture in terms of the silver price. We have seen about two and a half years in which the paper price of silver has been coiling and is now fast approaching the apex of a triangle. My bet is that the price breaks higher.
