Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, Commander of Ukraine's Tavriia Operational-Strategic Group, announced to the Western media that Ukrainian troops have successfully broken the Russian defences in Verbove, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

On the other hand, although Russian media paint a different picture in the region, video analyses obtained by journalists from open sources show that some Ukrainian troops "broke through an important line of Russian defence" near the village of Verbove.
