This is the 1957 song "Rang Tang Ding Dong (I'm The Japanese Sandman)" by Ray Stevens! This was Ray's very first single with "Silver Bracelet" on the flipside of the record single. Ray was actually still in high school in Atlanta when this was released. The song was written by Alvin Williams and originally released by The Cellos. Ray's version may not have been as big of a hit, but it was the beginning of a very long and prolific musical career. Give it a listen!
