In this episode, we read from Robert Cornelius V. Meyer's Book "The Life and Adventures of Lewis Wetzel," published all the way back in 1890. This book provides a very different account of the death of Lewis' father, John Wetzel than the book "History of the Early Settlement and Indian Wars of West Virginia," by Wills De Hass, published in 1851, which we read from in a recent video about Lewis Wetzel:
