In this video, Dr. Berg gives an insight into hyperthyroidism, a condition where the thyroid is producing too much thyroid hormones.

It is usually diagnosed with low thyroid-stimulating hormone and high T3 or T4.

The pituitary originates the thyroid-stimulating hormone. If the TSH is high, it will turn T3 off – but if it is low, there will be no turn-off switch which will keep it producing more and more.
