In this video, Dr. Berg talks about what is a Carcinogen. A carcinogen is any substance or radiation that has the capacity to promote the formation of tumor cells.

The normal cell gets damaged by a carcinogen and it loses its ability to die. He also talks about the whole mechanism of what happens to the body and the time frame for it to turn into tumors

• Solvents

• Radiation
• Chemicals

The problem with tumors or these certain types of diseases is delayed after the initial exposure which makes it hard to link. But our body has the ability to fight and protect against disease through all sorts of internal antioxidants, foods that are loaded with phytonutrients that have anti-tumor properties, and antioxidants that protect the cell from the damage.

In the liver, there is what we called Phase 1 and Phase 2 detoxification where your body can turn poisons into harmless particles. It is really important to eat enough cruciferous and organic foods on a regular basis.
