Please join me in welcoming Tara Shimer for part 2 of our interview. When I first interviewed Tara, she was dealing with amenorrhea, which is the total loss of a woman’s menstrual cycle. She was also dealing with several other health problems including gut issues, IBS, hair loss, PCOS, low T3 hypothyroidism, and pruritus (nighttime itching).

When Tara started taking ox bile supplements, her pruritus immediately disappeared. She also dealt with hot ears and right shoulder pain, which also stopped after taking ox bile. One month after taking ox bile, Tara’s menstrual cycle returned after having no period for 3 years.

If you don’t have enough bile, it can wreak havoc on your body. You won’t be able to convert T4 to T3, which can affect fertility, digestion, and many other important processes in the body. Low bile also decreases the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, which also play an important role in your fertility.

Recently, an integrative medical doctor diagnosed Tara with chronic inflammatory response syndrome which inhibits her body's ability to process biotoxins. Tara has been exposed to mold in her home, which can be especially problematic with her diagnosis.

Tara is going to spend some time in the desert where the humidity is low to help detoxify her body of mold. Borax and grapeseed extract can also help detoxify the body of mold and fungus.
