In August of 1961, Leroy Van Dyke released his album "Walk On By" which featured the smash-hit song of the same name. "Walk On By" spent 37 weeks on the country chart with a record-breaking 19 of those weeks at number one and was later named by Billboard magazine as the biggest country music record in history.
