Justin Trudeau's Nazi Hot Take Flexibility

A year and a half ago, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau denounced a Jewish member of parliament named Melissa Lantsman for standing with “people who wave swastikas.” Lantsman had criticized Trudeau for fanning “the flames of an unjustified national emergency” in response to the “Freedom Convoy” trucker protests. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has blamed "Russian disinformation" for the attendance of a Nazi veteran at Canada's Parliament.

Trudeau's statement on Monday marked the first time he spoke since the Canadian Parliament gave a standing ovation to the Nazi veteran. The prime minister described the situation as "extremely upsetting" and "particularly" upsetting for Canada's Jewish community.
