Storm Shield Forecast morning update 8/29/17

Today will be like yesterday, with highs looking to tie or break old records. Here in Bakersfield I am forecasting 109 which would tie the record for this date. But our mountains are also feeling the heat, with a high of 106 today in Lake Isabella, 99 in Tehachapi and 93 in Frazier Park. The hot spot in the county will be California City today, looking to top out at a high of 115 degrees this afternoon.
