Polk Township Conditional Use Hearing - September 27, 2023

A 90 Megawatt (MW) solar ‘farm’ is proposed to cover 486 acres approximately over two townships. Approximately 200 acres are located in Polk Township. The solar ‘farm’ proposed substation is expected to be 5-10 acres and will be located in Chestnut Hill Township.

On September 27, 2023, the second conditional use hearing was held for Polk Township.

Polk Township residents may get a copy of Effort Solar LLC’s Conditional Use Application by contacting the Township.
