The idea of the military being used against the people in SHTF has a lot of debate surrounding it. But what about the unconventional armies in the US?

There are major groups of people in the USA that will be easily leveraged against those who stand in the way of whatever initiative the ruling body of region wants to accomplish. They might not wear uniforms or have heavy equipment but they all share some similarities. They're either well organized, well funded, well armed or easily leveraged through desire. And sometimes they're all of the above.
