Adventure Team GI Joe - in: Journey to the Ruined City (Bonus Feature)

The Gorgax has left the city ruins of Lazarus City with their "gate orb" but not without paying a price. The Gorgax also planned on taking with them members of the Adventure team as host for their transformation process. A transformation that enables them to turn from their original species of Gorg, an Octopus like creature to and air breathing, land walking form they refer to as Gorgax. As they prepare to execute their evil plans, members of the Adventure Team managed to devise a counter move with the help of ROM and Mike Power. As GI Joe sprang into action, they quickly discovered that the Gorgax are equipped with a special force-field generator, but it was not perfect. It was a reactive system that will block incoming fire only in that area so long as the sensors on their pack unit can detect the firing of an enemy weapon. As fortune would have it, a lone sniper in the distance was in constant communication with the space knight ROM and struck down two Gorgax soldiers before the dealt a killing blast from their deadly pulse weapons. Now they are making shocking discoveries about the nature of the Gorgax alien species. GI Joe's mission has now taken a new sense of urgency.
