Geelong Advertiser Does Not Report Police, Council and Local Violence Issues Properly
I believe that the Geelong Advertiser is not reporting local issues about street violence properly.
In the video I mention the Geelong CBD and my appearance at the Geelong Police Community Forum just before Christmas last year (2022).
I raised serious issues at that Forum about violence around Geelong, the failure of the judiciary to incarcerate people who should have been jailed, and not let off on Community Correction orders, because they have repeatedly offended.
I state in the video, that all entities-the Police, Council, state government and the Magistrates and whomever, who let these people go, should all be held liable for their failures, and the hurt caused by those failures.

Extract: REGISTERED sex offender, Ali Jaffari, accused of attempted child-stealing, has had all charges against him dropped after a Magistrate told prosecutors he would have trouble finding Jaffari guilty.
Magistrate Ron Saines said if he was hearing the matter, he would have reasonable doubt, citing ‘cultural differences’ as one factor, which would result in the charges being dismissed.
Jaffari, 35, an Afghan refugee, was convicted in Geelong Magistrates’ Court on August 22, 2013, of indecently assaulting one boy and attempting to indecently assault another.
Can you believe this? This sort of thing is just plainly BIZZARE and totally unacceptable, and should not happen!!!
