Donkey Kong 64 is a video game in the Donkey Kong series for the Nintendo 64 system. In this game we have the return of Donkey Kong as a playable character and Diddy Kong, with the participation of 3 completely new characters.

It was the first Nintendo 64 game where the Memory Expander was necessary to play.

History

The game's story takes place one year after the game Donkey Kong Land III where K. Rool produces a new weapon, the Blast-O-Matic, and intends to destroy the DK Islands. However, the machine fails after a problem that causes its floating island to face Donkey Kong Island. To save time and be able to fix his machine, K.Rool captures some of the Kongs and traps them and steals Donkey Kong's precious golden bananas.
