Sonic Frontiers: The Final Horizon - Part 1

Note: Been waiting for Update 3 of this game for several months, especially since it was going to include more playable characters and more story content.

My first impressions on this update are pretty good so far. Amy plays quite well, though it took me the hang to get used to her homing attack, which seems as though you HAVE to tap the button so you can trigger accidentally initiating tarrot card attacks. Also, anyone else get a bit of a NieR:Automata vibe from Amy's BGM? Maybe it's the vocals or the string instruments, or both. I don't know.

As a kid, Knuckles was who became my first favorite character with my first Sonic game being S3&K, so I was perhaps looking forward to trying him out the most. That said, I seemed to have the toughest time getting the hang of him. If you're to steer during gliding, you can't have the left stick point too far away from where he's facing, or else nothing happens. He also falls during wall climbing if you touch a wall for some reason, which got kind of annoying. Guess I'll have to practice some more with him.

Looks like I won't be using them or Tails for any guardian fights any time soon either, since any fight I attempted against them only amounted to chip damage. Guess I'll have to upgrade them heavily. Thankfully, this version of Ouranos Island seems generous with Koco, seeds, and skill points, so it ought to not take as long as upgrading Sonic was.
