MARK DEVLIN “NOSTALGICIDE” PRESENTATION AT UPRISE & SHINE, SEPTEMBER 2023

Here’s my presentation titled “Nostalgicide” as delivered at UpRise & Shine at HOPE Sussex on 2nd September 2023.

This is a term I coined for what I suspect to be the systematic destruction of the nostalgic attachment many have to musical heroes, with specific emphasis on 80s icons Whitney Houston, Prince, George Michael and Michael Jackson.
