Until such time as central bankers in the Western world are made accountable to elected governments the myth that we live in a democracy needs to be called out. There is nothing democratic about central banks, yet control of a country’s currency is one of the most important functions a government can have. To allow a country’s currency to be controlled by unaccountable banks is a sellout of the highest order.
