Broken Shoe" How Do You Handle This?

Flip flops are the world's most worn shoe. Occasionally they break. It ALWAYS happens when you are out running errands.
How do YOU handle it?
Walk with it on no matter how hard it is?
Walk with one shoe on & the other foot bare?
Take them both off & go barefoot?
Wear a bag? Make a stranger carry you?
