Hell, we have even had a recent President awarded a Peace Prize for absolutely nothing but making campaign speeches, as he hadn’t even done anything in office yet when he received the prize, other than NOT be George W. Bush. This year’s prize in medicine could also turn out to be one of those dubious choices. Also in the news, the State of Maryland just got an extra Senator. Oh what a wonderful world we live in!
