Ray Stevens Playing "Everything Is Beautiful" Intro on Piano at CMHOF 8/20/19

This Chickering & Sons grand piano was brought to Nashville, TN from Beaumont, TX in 1965 by Cowboy Jack Clement. In 1969, he built the Jack Clement Recording Studios on Belmont Blvd and installed this piano in his Studio A. Many hit songs were recorded on this piano while it was there including the Grammy Award winning Ray Stevens song “Everything Is Beautiful”. Yesterday, Ray was being interviewed for his induction at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and just happened to come across this piano which was being stored nearby. After realizing what it was, Ray had to take a moment to recreate the musical magic!
