Ray Stevens - "Silver Bracelet" (Official Audio)

In 1957, when Ray Stevens was 18 years old, Prep Records (a subsidiary of Capitol) released "Silver Bracelet" as his very first commercial single. It was recorded in Atlanta and had some plays on the regional radio stations. Although, as a love ballad, it was different from his comedic tunes, "Silver Bracelet" was Ray's first taste of success and helped establish him as an upcoming singer/songwriter. Check it out!
