Russia's Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said the military has no plans for an additional mobilization of men, claiming 335,000 citizens entered military service this year alone.

"The General Staff has no plans for additional mobilization," Shoigu said in comments reported by news agency Interfax and RIA Novosti.

"The armed forces have the necessary number of military personnel to conduct a special military operation," Shoigu said, claiming that in September alone, more than 50,000 citizens had signed a contract with the defense ministry and that since the beginning of the year, more than 335,000 people had entered military service and volunteer groups.
