Jesus spoke in Parables

Mark 4: 34 He did not say anything to them without using a parable. But when he was alone with his own disciples, he explained everything. This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.

Mathew 13: 10
10 The disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”
11 He answered them, “It is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12 For to him who has, will more be given, and he will have abundance. But from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away.
