Welcome to Day 277, October 4th, 2023. We read the Proclamation of John the Baptist, preparing the way for the Lord fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah, and the Baptism of Jesus Christ. Mark recounts the temptation of Jesus and then the beginning of His Galilean Ministry and the Calling of His First Disciples. Luke also recounts the genealogy of Jesus tracing all the way to Adam.
