The Assassination of Col. Joe Alon

The findings of a televised 2011 First Channel investigation into the 1973 murder of Israeli Air and Naval Attache in Washington, Col. Joe Alon, conventionally attributed to Islamic terrorism, indicate that it was executed by the Mossad. The motive: Alon had inadvertently discovered secret plans between Henry Kissinger, Moshe Dayan and Anwar Sadat to stage an engineered conflict, soon to become know as the Yom Kippur War, in order to consolidate American control over the region in its contrived role as arbiter and peacekeeper. “If I open my mouth,” President Ezer Weizman is quoted in the film as saying, “the Jewish people will be in shock.”
