Free Trade 101

John Kerry just gave a speech at the Aspen Ideas Festival condemning Brexit and wondering about future trade with Britain. The classical economist David Ricardo would have had a lot to say at this conference. He demonstrated that countries can only win by agreeing to specialize and trade with each other. Everybody wins. What Kerry doesn't get is that by cutting off trade to one of our longest partners, we only hurt ourselves.
