At the age of 3 years old, Na’Jeray Le’Cole Elam, picked up a pen and the rest has been history. She grew up in Pontiac, Michigan as an only child and her main source of happiness has always been 90s cartoons. Starting off drawing what Steve illustrated in Blue’s Clues, she embodied every vision of detail and specifics. She went on to have pieces featured in Pontiac’s famed Creative Arts Center as a teenager, getting in trouble drawing on her friends in class, to becoming an aspiring tattoo artist and starting her own brand Lint Pocket.

Formerly known as Na’Jeray, Rae rebranded her image as an artist and is now known as either Rae or “that Lint Pocket girl!” She currently does body painting, tattoos, paints 90s themes murals and customizes clothing. Anything that can be touched with paint, shall be touched. I'm a self-taught sketch artist, born & raised here in Pontiac, MI. Because I've had no training or schooling in art, I've only recently found a style that I've come to embrace and love. It involves me merging my skill of charcoal sketching with acrylic and aerosol paints, and other mediums.
