Just a mile away from Congress, In Washington, DC, Democrat Representative Henry Cuellar experienced a carjacking incident involving three armed assailants.

According to a statement released by The Associated Press, the incident occurred as Congressman Cuellar was in the process of parking his vehicle. At that moment, three individuals armed with weapons approached him, robbed him, and forcibly took possession of his car.

It is noteworthy that Washington, DC, where this carjacking took place, enforces some of the most stringent gun control measures in the United States.
