Storm Shield Forecast morning update 9/5/17

The overnight breeze is bringing more pronounced cooling, with a high of 97 expected in Bakersfield today. That's still above our average of 93 degrees, but it's a welcome break from the 100s that we've been dealing with every afternoon since August 25. The Kern River Valley will top out at 94 today and Tehachapi will top out at 87 today with 84 in Frazier Park and mostly sunny skies across the county.
