Question: Is Tau based or inspired by any philosophy or philosophy of science? If so, which one and which one is definitely not.

Answer: The biggest philosophical point that grounds for everything we do is the laws of laws. Number 1, the laws have to be decidable. So answering whether something is illegal or not, should not take infinite time and that’s a very modest request. Also, the law should be changeable and this is twofold. This gives the axiom of deletion that sometimes we need to delete old the rules in order to legislate the new rules. And the third axiom which comes again to changing the laws is about self-reference. These philosophical grounds for how the law should be formalized give a unique solution. That’s the biggest breakthrough that we come from such three simple requests. And we get only one language, only in one logic. There is only one way to go for the law. Indeed Tau Meta Language already successfully implemented this logic and it works very well.
