Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical game with 4 survivors and 1 killer. Both parties must do whatever it takes to complete their objectives and win. Survivors must complete gens to escape through the gate or if their lucky they'll escape through hatch. The killer is to prevent survivors from completing gens and sacrificing them to the entity.
