Half a Trillion in Two Weeks

The National Debt Clock which recently topped $33 trillion a couple of weeks ago is now up half a trillion dollars. This means the Federal Government has somehow managed to run through half a trillion dollars in just two weeks. What in the world is happening here? It seems like something ominous is forming behind the scenes. Brace up, I sense the next two months will be a hell of a ride.
