You tell us the end from the beginning,
It's all there in black and white,
For anyone who cares to know,
It's all right there right in plain sight,
Things are not all falling apart,
They're falling right into place,
Time is so short it won't be long,
Until we hear that trumpet sound!

I'm no longer watching the signs,
I'm waiting for the trumpet to sound,
I'm just waiting for the appointed time,
I think that the trumpet is fixin to sound
And I'm waiting for my feet to leave the ground,
