A Meeting at the Well – John 4:1-30

I don't have much by way of an introduction for this study. Today we are going to look at the story of Jesus meeting the Samaritan woman at Jacob's well. I consider it one of the most profound stories in all of the New Testament inasmuch as it fully encapsulates Jesus' entire earthly ministry. He came to save. Everything else — miracles, profound teachings, blessings, etc. – were his 'tools of the trade' so to speak. He used them to draw people to himself.

Jesus came the first time to save. He will come the second time to judge. Every one of us will one day face him as either Savior or Judge. We get to make the choice. BUT that choice must be made in this lifetime. Once you die, you can't change the choice you made. With that said, let's get to it.
