Hey there, this is Simon at SafeandVaultStore.com, here today to talk to you about the Nomad 26 Modular Gun Safe from Steelhead Outdoors in Minnesota.

One of the primary benefits of this safe, beyond just being a well-built product made in the US, is the fact that it's modular. This safe arrived in four different boxes on a pallet. My coworker and I were able to unload it to its final resting position and assemble it with nothing more than the tools that were included in the box in under an hour.

This safe is finished in Badlands Brown, which is one of six custom standard color options that they offer, all of which are inspired by America's National parks.

The exterior of this safe is all 12 gauge steel. This particular one is fitted with an S&G UL Listed Type 1 Electronic D-Drive Lock. They are also available with dial combination locks as well.

The opening side of this door is secured with three 4" long 1/2" thick solid steel bolts. And the hinge side locks into a solid 1/2" thick jamb that extends all the way around the opening.

There are multiple interior configurations available on these safes, but we choose the double horseshoe gun racking with a shelf up top finished in arctic white. We also chose the deluxe interior kit, which includes motion-sensing lights, two gear panels on the door, and a rubber floor mat.

This safe also comes with a 30-minute fire rating. We get the opportunity to see a lot of products here at SafeandVaultStore.com, and it's cool to see a US company thinking outside the box and coming up with solutions. This would be the perfect product if you're trying to fit a safe into a smaller apartment, if you're trying to get it into a closet you couldn't normally get a gun safe into, or if you lived on a second story and you don't want to pay expensive installation fees.
