Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) made good on his word, and called a vote to remove Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) as Speaker of the House. And after a 216-to-210 vote on Oct. 3, the House officially removed McCarthy as speaker.
