ThirteenKcanddle's hand-crafted candles are made of soy wax, which is not only a healthier option since it is natural, but it is also non-toxic and our cotton wicks ensure cleaner burn.

ThirteenKcanddle's large sized soy wax tea-lights contain 24-26g of wax and burn for approximately 6 hours.

Soy wax is an alternative to Paraffin wax which is used by big brands. Unlike Paraffin wax, Soy wax is clean burning and produces no toxins when burning. They also burn for longer.

Soy wax is a vegetable wax and so is Vegan friendly. The wax is made from the oil of soybeans which after being harvested the soybeans are first cleaned and then cracked, de-hulled and rolled into wax flakes. The oil is then extracted from these flakes and hydrogenated. The hydrogenation process converts some of the fatty acids in the oil from unsaturated to saturated.
