Our new Transit Trail Edition Van remains in a parking lot at the factory in Kansas City. There is no word yet about it being delivered any time soon. We would gladly fly there to pick it up, but that is not allowed. So we wait.

For months we’ve been working on doing everything we can to build out the fan without actually having the van. Matt’s been building cabinets, laying out the electrical system, the plumbing system, the heating system, and the propane lines, and in this video, we’ll take you through all of these van systems.

We are now at the place where we can’t do any more work until we have the van on site. So, we’re letting go. We’re coming to terms with the fact that the van could be weeks or even months away from delivery.

It’s time for us to prepare for winter in our off-grid home and to consider traveling without a van.
