Southern and central Israel experienced a series of rocket attacks on Saturday morning, coinciding with Hamas militants infiltrating parts of the country and assuming control over certain Southern Israeli towns. In response to these developments, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated firmly that Israel is currently engaged in a state of war.
