Dad-Builds: AC Blower Fan Replacement

Is the air in your car not blowing strong in the dead of summer in the desert? This Video might be for you! I will walk through the steps to remove and replace my AC blower fan. This is my first foray into doing in depth video editing and it was very much necessary in order to organize the mess of footage I had.

I filmed this in the middle of July in Arizona, and it shows. My equipment is consistently overheated so there are a lot of cuts and images of sweat pouring off me.

I had more fun editing this than I did shooting it, mostly cause editing is done inside with the AC at 73. I hope you have as much fun watching it as I did making sense of all my footage!

This ended up being a bit of a skills demo for me. To me it seems like I have a bit going on in some scenes, but I wanted to get a good feel for a lot of the different tools I could use, and more over the kinds of things I still can’t do. Motion tracking is a pain in the ass.
